We are rolling out improved online configurator
We have enhanced our online configurator tool, DnD, to make designing the perfect mobile workplace even simpler.
DnD is an easy-to-use, web-based configurator tool that allows users to build a van racking system specifically for their needs. Users simply choose the make and model of their vans, then populate the van’s cargo space with our pre-designed F-packs. They can also drag and drop any items they wish to add to their solution, plus any accessories and specialist equipment.
Our Lead Developer Paul Gregory, who has led the introduction of the improvements, says: “DnD is a key part of the service we offer our customers. This suite of enhancements will make it easier to design the ideal solution, cut the time it takes to generate quotations and offer users better information to help them make decisions. All this results in a much better customer journey and is part of our commitment to taking the stress out of designing their optimum van racking solution.”
Improved user journey
The enhancements include:
- Streamlined interface: A simplified user interface makes DnD more intuitive to use.
- Better navigation: We have relocated the top menu to the left of the screen, consolidated all essential options and reduced the number of clicks required.
- Centralised configuration: All relevant configuration options can now be found in the configuration area, creating a larger central workspace on the screen and keeping everything needed in one place during the process.
- Detailed product inspection: Users can now easily find out more details of all components, with images and videos, and effortlessly download any necessary documentation.
Better graphics
The quality of graphics has also been improved. Users will enjoy greater detail in the images of their system when configuring. They can also generate high-quality quotes directly from the browser in just a few seconds; a significant improvement over the previous 20-minute wait.
We have also introduced advanced browser graphics that will allow for the inclusion of more advanced features in future updates.
