Renault UK chooses System Edström for its new mobile service vehicles

Renault UK has unveiled System Edström as the new supplier of van racking for its mobile service vehicle programme. The initiative was launched at the Commercial Vehicle Show 2026 in Birmingham and means that Renault’s new mobile service vans will be fitted with van racking solutions from us.

The new service vans are designed to function as fully equipped mobile workshops at the customer’s location. Each vehicle is fitted with around 70 tools, power supply systems, compressor equipment and advanced diagnostic technology, enabling technicians to carry out servicing and repairs on-site.

In phase one of the programme, System Edström has converted seven Renault Master vans: six deployed directly to dealers across the UK network, with a seventh featuring in the launch of the programme at this year’s Commercial Vehicle Show before joining a dealer. The target is to grow the fleet to 25 converted mobile service vans across the dealer network.

Experience and flexibility made the difference

When Renault UK set out to select a supplier for its van racking solutions, experience was a key factor. The company was looking for a partner with proven expertise in mobile service vehicles, and the choice fell on System Edström.
