Maximize space with double flooring

Make use of the full area of your van with our double floor solution. A double floor is an elevated floor that is installed in the van, allowing you to easily store equipment both underneath and on top of the floor. We recommend supplementing it with extended drawers under the double floor for the best possible organization – a solution highly appreciated by our customers.

The double floor is available in two heights: 250 mm and 470 mm. The floor is made from 9 mm Nordic birch plywood, built up of seven layers for extra durability. The substructure is made of polypropylene, making the solution sound-dampening, durable, non-slip and easy to keep clean.

The extended drawers are available in five lengths and two widths, so you can easily choose the option that fits your van and your type of work. You can also add accessories like a shelf with dividers or drawer inserts – perfect for creating structure and order in every drawer. The shelf can easily be moved back and forth for easy access.

Did you know that our extended drawers can handle up to 100 kg of evenly distributed load? This means you can store heavier material and tools in a smooth and safe way, while still having full overview of the contents when you pull the drawer out.

The extended drawers can also be placed by the side door – a solution that makes the work van even easier to work in and more ergonomic. It is no problem to install up to three long drawers even in the smallest vans. A double floor with long drawers is especially effective in vehicles where you mainly work from outside and want everything directly accessible when pulled out.

Traditionally, shelves and drawers are the most common systems for van interiors. However, everything from a screwdriver holder to a ladder holder can be part of your van rack.

There are several ways to build racking and shelves in a van. It’s recommended to preassemble the shelves outside the van and lift the unit into the van, then securely attach the shelf frames. Usually, the shelf frame is the load-bearing structure to which everything is attached.

Bright LED lights similar to those in the driver’s cabin with sufficient lumens are undoubtedly the best way to illuminate the interior of a van in the cargo space. The advantage of LED is that you can easily mount it in several different places in the van.
