Each tool drawer has a load capacity of up to 60 kg, making them ideal for storing heavy tools and accessories as part of your van racking setup. The drawers are equipped with ball-bearing slides, ensuring a stable, quiet, and smooth operation, even under heavy load. This makes opening and closing the drawers easy, every time.

For larger storage needs, we offer long drawers with extra capacity — each can handle up to 100 kg of evenly distributed weight. These are especially well-suited for installation under false floors in vans, helping you maximize available space. Add optional shelving, dividers, and drawer inserts to create a smart, well-organized solution.

Our drawer foam inserts act as both protection and noise dampening for tools, machine parts, and spare parts. These are always included when purchasing our van storage drawers. For the extended drawers, optional rubber mats are available to help keep contents in place during transport, reducing wear and potential damage.

You can create a customized drawer unit by combining multiple drawers. For floor-mounted drawer stacks, we offer support plinths, two 392 mm wide bases align perfectly with our 784 mm drawers. To help you stay organized, we also offer System Edström-green drawer inserts with movable dividers. You can configure the compartments to suit your needs — with sections in exactly the size you require.

All drawers from System Edström come in two standard depths and two heights across the range:
• depth: 300 and 470 mm
• height: 110 and 220 mm

We offer these in various widths:
• our smallest at 302 mm wide
• our bestsellers at 392 mm and 605 mm wide
• our largest at 784 mm wide

There is also a third height available only for our most common vehicle interior drawer, which is 392 mm wide, with a mid-height option of 165 mm.

Traditionally, shelves and drawers are the most common systems for van interiors. However, everything from a screwdriver holder to a ladder holder can be part of your van rack.

There are several ways to build racking and shelves in a van. It’s recommended to preassemble the shelves outside the van and lift the unit into the van, then securely attach the shelf frames. Usually, the shelf frame is the load-bearing structure to which everything is attached.
