As a leader in high-quality van racking and storage solutions, we’re proud to announce the launch of our latest range of innovative products – designed to improve efficiency, durability, and sustainability.

Updated internal ladder holder

We have redesigned the popular internal ladder holder to make it quieter, easier to use and more space-efficient for carrying ladders in the van. The new version features:

• Spring-loaded hanger for effortless insertion and removal.
• Foldable, low-profile design, taking up just 6 cm when not in use.
• Quieter operation, eliminating steel-on-steel noise.
• Supports ladders up to 1,9 meters and 15 kg.

Lighter and more sustainable dropfronts and shelves

One of the standout innovations is the newly designed dropfronts and dropfront shelves, engineered for superior performance:

• 32% lighter dropfronts made from low-emission Norwegian aluminium, reducing vehicle weight and improving fuel efficiency.
• 35% lighter dropfront shelves, crafted from high-tensile steel, reducing weight by 0.9 kg per shelf.
• Significant carbon footprint reduction, with an annual CO₂ emission reduction of 12 tonnes, increasing to 58 tonnes with future SSAB Zero Steel production.
• New 392 mm width for enhanced configurability and improved integration within System Edström’s storage solutions.

When combined, these advancements reduce overall weight by a third per unit, improving vehicle performance and environmental impact.

Next-generation cabinets and storage

We are also introducing a new range of cabinets, featuring:

• Flush front design for a sleek, professional look.
• New 392 mm dropfront shelves, perfectly aligned with updated cabinet dimensions.
• Optional clothes rails and side covers, providing increased versatility for different trade professionals.

Premium support rails with airline fixing

System Edström’s new support rails with airline fixing provide a stronger, more adaptable alternative to traditional L-type support rails:

• High-strength steel construction ensures durability.
• Integrated airline holes enable additional customisation and attachments.
• Load capacity of up to 100kg, ensuring secure transport.

Smarter Tool Storage

We are also introducing more accessories for better organization:

• Tool Clamp  – with a load capacity of up to 5 kg per mount.
• Designed for tools –  from 12 mm to 50 mm in diameter. Perfect for crowbars, shovels, brushes, and more.
• Pegboard Tray – used to protect both the floor and the tools. Made from a more durable material for tougher use.

Even More Storage and Protection

This year, we’re also launching additional accessories to keep all tools in place, along with edge protection for shelves:

Bespoke brackets

To make installation smoother and cleaner, bespoke brackets are now available for selected van models, including the Ford Transit Custom and Volkswagen Transporter T7 and ID Buzz. These brackets offer:

• Easy assembly using existing van holes with no drilling required.
• Simple removal without leaving marks, preserving vehicle resale value.
• Fixed lengths for seamless compatibility with System Edström’s F-kits.
