New van interior in Felix Lundin´s Kia PV5 Cargo – behind the scenes

Kia PV5 Cargo van racking System Edström

Recently, our ambassador Felix Lundin, better known as @felkansnickrar, received the keys to his brand-new Kia PV5 Cargo. Now the van interior is in place, tailored to fit the everyday needs of a carpenter.

Felix is the carpenter, craftsman, and content creator behind one of Sweden’s fastest-growing construction accounts on Instagram. With over 140,000 followers, he inspires daily with tips, guides, and project walkthroughs. His background as a high-level skier, combined with extensive experience in video production, has helped shape the successful account he runs today.

– On my channel you’ll see a bit of everything: inspiration, educational content, lots of outdoor building projects, decks, old houses – and everything in between, Felix says.

Unique possibilities with the Kia PV5 Cargo

In addition to his collaboration with us, Felix is also an ambassador for Kia. His new PV5 Cargo is Kia’s first electric van – and was recently awarded the 2026 International Van of the Year.

What impressed Felix most was the smart use of space and the generous interior load height. For tradespeople who want double flooring, he sees huge potential.

– Even though the van isn’t that tall, the interior load height is really generous. It opens up incredible possibilities. And it’s very easy to drive, with a true passenger-car feel.

Felix is working on the finishing touches for the mat he chose to install in the van.

A more flexible workday

The van interior was installed by “Tjovis” at Infra Bilinredning in Sweden. The work began, as usual, with pre-assembly, and this time it also included the installation of a floor mat – inspired by carpenter @goodwoodbygg’s van setup. After that, the interior was lifted in and mounted in place in the PV5.

The new van now features a smaller but smarter interior:

– I had more shelves than I needed before. Now I have fewer, but they’re more thought-out. And I also have space for larger tools like a table saw and a rip saw. It becomes a more modular van that works whether I’m carrying a lot or just a few tools.

A new feature for him is the sliding platform.

– I hope it will help with ergonomics, especially when reaching tools stored all the way in the back. It’s new to me, and I’m excited to try it.

A tour of the van – here’s how the setup looks

On the right side, there’s a pegboard that can be customized with our wide range of accessories, along with a sturdy sliding platform for larger toolboxes and a extended drawer for the tools used most frequently.

On the left side, the setup is complemented by a system of drawers, shelves, a dropfront shelf, and additional accessories. In the second side door, there are even more drawers and shelving systems that keep assortment cases securely in place.

Soon, Felix will also be installing his vehicle-to-load solution, which allows him to charge batteries directly in the van.

Summary – here’s what Felix chose to equip his van with:

  • A sliding platform. with a extended drawer underneath for smooth and practical storage.
  • A shelving system with a dropfront shelf at floor level to keep everything in place.
  • Assortment cases that create structure for screws and small parts – and are easy to bring along to the job site.
  • Hooks, pegboard tray, and other accessories for flexible mounting and practical storage.
