Carpenter Emil Ekelund’s top three favorites from System Edström

To keep a work van organized and tidy, you need smart solutions that make everyday life easier. Here, carpenter and our ambassador Emil Ekelund (@goodwoodbygg) lists his top three favorites from us.

Together with our bodywork partner LN Fordonsmontage in Kristianstad, Emil fitted out his new work van, and since then he has found several solutions that simplify his working day.

During Nordbygg at Stockholmsmässan in Sweden, Emil visited our stand with his Volkswagen Transporter T6, a van packed with smart details and well-thought-out solutions that drew many curious looks from visitors.

Loaded with assortment cases

One of the first things that stands out is the storage solution in the side door, with space for assortment cases. Here Emil gets both a great overview and easy access to his items. The shelf is also fitted with lighting, making it easy to clearly see the contents.

– When you open it, you can pull out the assortment. Great overview, well lit, and you can also bring the case with you on site, he says.

Towards the back of the van we find even more smart features. One of Emil’s great favorites is the extended drawers combined with the false floor — a solution that makes it possible to maximize storage without compromising the load area.

– They hold a huge amount, and we still have a clear load floor here, he says.

Smart solutions for an easier working day

Last but not least, he highlights the pegboards, which help him keep his tools from brands including HiKOKI and Hultafors in order. With various accessories, it’s easy to build a smart and flexible solution — for this particular fit-out he chose pegboard trays and hooks to make the most of the storage area.

– You get a great overview and know where everything is. Easy to reach, you just grab what you need and hang it back again. Super important to have everything in its place, he concludes.
