System Edström and Startax to conclude distribution cooperation in Finland

System Edström and Startax Oy have jointly decided to conclude their long-standing distribution partnership in Finland. The current agreement between the companies will formally end on September 10^th, 2025.

This decision has been made in full agreement between the parties and reflects a shared understanding of future strategic directions. The transition will be handled in a coordinated and professional manner, ensuring continuity for customers and partners in the Finnish market.

Startax Oy is a strong specialist wholesaler and importer of automotive electrical spare parts and accessories, operating across the Nordic and Baltic regions. As part of the publicly listed Relais Group, Startax is now sharpening its strategic focus on its core business areas.

Both companies remain fully committed to maintaining high service levels throughout the remaining duration of the agreement and will continue to support their shared customers during and after the transition period.

To ensure continuity and high-quality service for Finnish customers, Jaakko Asikainen, who has long been responsible for System Edström products at Startax, will continue in a similar role as Country Manager Finland at System Edström moving forward.
