Product news: Floors and linings for popular van models
We’re introducing a new product to our range – floors and linings for the most common van models. The perfect solution to protect your van from wear and tear while creating a safer and more comfortable working environment.
Durable Materials for Extended Lifespan
Our floors are made from 9 mm Nordic birch plywood, constructed from seven layers for optimal strength. The material is resistant to common chemicals and features a non-slip top layer that’s easy to clean.
– Nordic birch grows slowly, resulting in a stronger and more durable material, says Fredrik Lundvall, Head of Product Development at System Edström.
The new floors are also used in our crash tests, making them the obvious choice for those who want a correctly installed System Edström interior that meets the highest safety standards.
– These floors are part of our testing process to ensure maximum safety, says Fredrik Lundvall.
For easy installation, the floors can be mounted using the included brackets or the vehicle’s existing lashing points. Additionally, our new insert nut (7180) is a perfect fit for a smooth and efficient installation.
Sound-Absorbing for a Better Work Environment
Our new interior wall and ceiling cladding is made from 4 mm polypropylene – a material that not only protects the vehicle’s interior but also helps reduce noise levels thanks to its honeycomb structure.
– The material choice and structure actually help lower the noise level slightly in the cargo area, explains Fredrik Lundvall.
Just One Click Away in DnD
We want adding flooring and lining to be just as simple as configuring the rest of your van racking system. In our design software DnD, you can now easily add these new products using a button within the tool. Learn more here about how DnD works and how to get started.
