We offer a range of different car interiors for Ford vans. In order to be able to work in tough conditions while being easy to use, the transporters from Ford need to be equipped with car interiors, adapted to the car itself but above all to your needs. The smallest model, the Transit Courier, offers 2.3 m3 of cargo space, 10% more than other vans in the same class. Behind the front trunk (the partition between the driver’s compartment and the cargo compartment), there is space for a European pallet and a generous load capacity of 660 kg.

With Transit Connect and Transit Custom, you get practical, comfortable and safe transport vehicles with the latest high-tech driving functions. The long wheelbase (L2) provides a capacity of 6.8 cubic meters. The short wheelbase (L1) with “best-in-class” maneuverability has a cargo space of 6 cubic meters. The largest model from Ford, the Transit, is available with multiple roof heights and wheelbase lengths, allowing you to maximize the enormous space, tailored to your needs.

INSTALLATION

Installation instructions

We always recommend that you get your Ford van racking systems installed at our workshop in Corby or at one of our network of expert dealers. This will ensure that the van racking is properly fitted. This also gives you a 5-year warranty on the van racking and the mounting. If you install the van racking yourself, we provide general mounting instructions and a 3-year products and accessories warranty. If you need any advice, please contact us or one of our approved dealers.

Traditionally, shelves and drawers are the most common systems for van interiors. However, everything from a screwdriver holder to a ladder holder can be part of your van rack.

There are several ways to build racking and shelves in a van. It’s recommended to preassemble the shelves outside the van and lift the unit into the van, then securely attach the shelf frames. Usually, the shelf frame is the load-bearing structure to which everything is attached.

Depending on the end-user, requirements can vary significantly. System Edström can provide transport vehicle accessories for most applications, and one of our many dealers can help you better understand your needs.

Bright LED lights similar to those in the driver’s cabin with sufficient lumens are undoubtedly the best way to illuminate the interior of a van in the cargo space. The advantage of LED is that you can easily mount it in several different places in the van.
